GIVE A DOG A BONE (CANCER)
- 2013 | 7:33
- Directed & edited by Ken Simpson
Baker is my best buddy. He's a truly awesome Black Lab who has made his way into a few of my films (most notably Worked For Me). When he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in late 2011, we opted to both amputate his front left leg and have him undergo chemotherapy.
This dogumentary is a tribute to him and his remarkable recuperation from cancer. Many friends, family members and even strangers came together for a fundraiser for Baker to help pay for the associated medical costs and their generosity was greatly appreciated!
We have to give a huge thanks to Baker's veterinarian Dr. Tiffany Mason and oncology specialist Dr. Meredith Gauthier.

In this tutorial I discuss Baker's merits as an actor and I reveal how I was able to get him to pull the sheets off of the bed in Worked for Me.
